XShorts Tips
You don’t need an account to start watching. Jump straight into the main feed as soon as you install the app. You can make an account later if you want to save favorites or like videos, but it’s totally optional for basic viewing.
Use the category tabs to narrow down what you see. If you only care about comedy or DIY content, flip over to the matching tab instead of scrolling through the mixed main feed. It cuts down on time spent skipping clips you don’t care about.
Tweak playback quality in settings to match your data plan. If you’re on mobile data most of the time, drop the default resolution down a bit to save data and cut down on buffering. Switch it back to higher quality when you’re on Wi-Fi for a sharper picture.
