sirius xm Tips
Build your favorites list first. Drop 5 to 10 channels you know you’ll listen to regularly into the favorites tab, and you’ll skip all the browsing friction every time you open the app.
Sports fans should follow their favorite teams right after signing in. You’ll get alerts for live game kickoff times, and the app will surface related talk shows and analysis automatically.
Download on-demand episodes for daily commutes. Live streaming chews through mobile data pretty fast, so saving podcasts and show replays offline cuts down on buffering and overage charges.
Don’t sleep on the non-music content. A lot of new users only browse music channels at first, but the comedy, talk and true crime sections have some of the best exclusive stuff on the platform.
All in all, it’s not for everyone. If you only listen to on-demand music and never care about live radio or sports, a basic music streaming service will probably fit your needs better. But if you want that all-in-one radio experience — music, live sports, news and talk all wrapped into one app — it’s still the most polished, reliable pick for Android.
