Dan the Man Tips
Stop spamming attack, learn to dodge and jump kick. Most new players just mash the punch button and get surrounded instantly. The dodge roll has invincibility frames and gets you out of trouble fast, and the jump kick hits multiple enemies at once and breaks through blocking foes. Master those two moves first and you’ll cruise through the early levels.
Use every weapon you find, don’t hoard them. Bats have huge range, guns tear through ranged enemies, and bombs wipe out whole groups. They spawn constantly through levels, so there’s zero reason to save them. Blow through them and grab the next one.
Upgrade health and base damage first. It’s tempting to blow coins on fancy special moves or cosmetics, but don’t do it. More HP and higher punch damage will carry you way further through the early and mid game. Save the trickier upgrades for later when you have extra gold to spare.
Smash every suspicious wall and check every side path. Tons of levels have hidden rooms stuffed with coins, health pickups, and bonus upgrades. Don’t just run straight to the end — jump around, hit random walls, and explore a little. The extra loot is always worth it.
It’s not perfect, obviously. Touch controls can get a little messy during super busy fights, and it’s easy to misjudge a jump or hit the wrong button when things get chaotic. The later survival waves get pretty grindy, and if you don’t like repeating levels you might burn out faster.
