Editor's Review
If you think team-building RPGs are just about throwing your strongest heroes at a problem, this game will correct that assumption quickly. Hero Wars: Alliance is a strategy game disguised as a fantasy RPG—every battle demands you think about faction synergy, positioning, and timing. I spent a solid session tweaking my frontline, swapping supports, and countering an enemy tank with a specific debuffer.

Hero Wars Tips
Stick to your main carry first, don’t spread resources thin. A lot of new players level up every hero they unlock, and that’s a fast way to hit a wall. Pick one strong damage dealer — your starter mage works fine for early game — and pour all your upgrade materials into them first. One well-built carry will carry you further than five half-leveled heroes.
Join an active alliance as soon as you can. Don’t wait until you’re “good enough.” The daily rewards, shard requests, and co-op raids speed up your progress massively. Look for a guild with high daily activity, not just the highest power level.
Follow the main campaign first, don’t chase side content early. The main story unlocks all the core features and gives you steady resources and hero shards. Come back to side dungeons and extra modes once you hit your first real progression wall.
Learn basic team composition before you mess with fancy setups. You don’t need a team full of rare heroes to win early on. One tank, two damage dealers, one healer, and one flexible support slot will get you through most of the early campaign without issues.
Do your dailies every day. The daily quest rewards are small on their own, but they add up fast. Skipping even a couple days a week puts you way behind on gold, experience, and summon tickets.
It’s not perfect, obviously. Like most gacha RPGs, the grind gets slow in the later stages, and free-to-play players will hit progression walls that take days to get past. Some of the strongest meta heroes are hard to unlock without spending money, and summon luck can make or break your early game experience. The UI can also feel cluttered at times, with a lot of different menus and event pop-ups when you first log in.
