robokiller Tips
Grant all the required permissions on first launch. It needs full call and SMS access to actually do its job — skip those, and it won’t block anything properly.
Stick with the default blocking level at first. It strikes a solid balance between catching spam and avoiding false positives. Only crank up the aggression if you’re still getting swamped with junk calls.
Check the blocked call log every few days when you first start. If a legitimate number gets caught by mistake, add it to your whitelist and the app will adjust over time.
Mess around with the Answer Bots for fun. Pick a bot personality you like and let it troll spammers for you. It’s easily the most entertaining part of the app.
It’s not perfect, obviously. The full feature set requires a paid subscription — the free trial works well, but you’ll need a plan to keep all the premium features long term. Detection works best in North America, so users in other regions might see slightly lower accuracy. And it does need fairly deep system permissions to run, which won’t sit right with more privacy-focused users.
