Tank games are a dime a dozen, but Armor Age actually makes you think before you fire. I jumped into a PvP match and quickly realized that brute force alone gets you nowhere—positioning, flanking, and knowing when to push matter more than raw damage. The WW2 campaign is a nice change of pace when online competition gets intense; each mission drops you into historical battles with clear objectives.

Armor Age: WW2 tank strategy Tips
Pour your early resources into one solid heavy tank first. Spreading upgrade materials evenly across your whole squad leaves you with a weak front line that breaks too easily. A single well-built lead tank will carry you through most early campaign stages.
Don’t line all your units up straight on the front. Tuck light tanks on the flanks and send them around to hit enemy artillery units first. Taking out their backline damage dealers fast makes every fight way easier.
Push the campaign first before jumping into PvP. You’ll earn way more upgrade materials and unlock better tanks through story stages, and you’ll get crushed in ranked matches if you go in with underleveled units.
Use terrain to your advantage. Cover and obstacles cut incoming damage noticeably. Never park your whole squad out in the open against enemy artillery — it’s the fastest way to lose a fight.
It’s not without its flaws, obviously. Free-to-play progression slows down noticeably in the later stages, and you’ll have to grind stages repeatedly to max out your best units. The rarer top-tier tanks take a while to unlock without spending money, so patient players will get the most out of it. And if you’re looking for fast-paced action shooting, this slower, strategy-focused format won’t be for you.
