I have an AtlasCube internet radio sitting in my workshop, and this app finally gives me a proper remote control for it—no cloud, no accounts, just Wi-Fi. The auto-discovery found my device instantly, and the real-time status updates are snappy. I can browse the playlist, adjust EQ, and even control Bluetooth playback from my phone. The hardware volume buttons controlling the remote device is a nice touch.

AtlasCube Remote is a fast, lightweight Android app that turns your phone
into a full remote control for AtlasCube — the ESP32-based internet radio
firmware. It works entirely over your local Wi-Fi network: no accounts,
no cloud services, no ads.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Connect your phone and your AtlasCube device to the same Wi-Fi network.
2. Open the app and let it discover devices automatically, or add one
manually by entering its IP address.
3. Select the device — that's it. Use the on-screen tabs to control it
instantly.
PRIVACY FOCUSED
AtlasCube Remote does not collect personal data, has no analytics, and no advertising. Your favourites, schedules and settings are stored only on your device.
When you choose to play a station directly on the phone, the app connects to that station's stream — exactly as any internet radio player would. When you use the Calendar feature, upcoming events read from your phone are sent only to your local AtlasCube device — never to the developer or any third party. Aside from optional Google Play update checks, the app talks only to your local AtlasCube device.
PERMISSIONS
- Internet — talk to your AtlasCube device and stream audio
- Foreground service & notifications — show the media-player notification while a station plays on the phone
- Calendar (read-only, optional) — only when you tap "Sync" in the Calendar tab, to mirror upcoming events onto your device; never modified and never accessed in the background
REQUIREMENTS
- Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer
- An AtlasCube device on the same Wi-Fi network
- A Text-to-Speech engine on your phone (only for spoken announcements - most devices include one)
