Natural language input in Fantastical is legit magic. I typed “Lunch with Sarah Friday at 1pm” and it just worked—no menus, no forms. Then I used Openings to share my free slots, and three people picked times without a single email chain. It pulls in Zoom links automatically for meetings. Task management syncs with Reminders, so my to-dos sit right next to calendar events. The Windows version is a bit behind the Mac one, but on Apple devices it’s smooth.

You just type like you’re texting a friend—“Coffee with Alex at 2pm tomorrow” or “Team meeting every Monday at 10am”—and Fantastical instantly turns it into a proper event. No tapping through menus, no endless fields to fill. It even picks up tasks if you start with “remind me” or “todo.” Saves so much time, it’s silly.
Then there’s the scheduling toolkit, which is a lifesaver for busy people. Openings lets you share your available time slots, so others can pick what works for them—no back-and-forth emails. Proposals let you send multiple time options to a group, and everyone can vote on the best one. It also auto-adds Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams links to meetings—super handy for remote work.
The interface is clean but flexible. It has all the standard views—day, week, month, year—plus a slick DayTicker that shows your upcoming schedule at a glance. Dark mode, light mode, custom event colors—you can tweak almost everything to fit your vibe. It works seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and even Apple Vision Pro. The Windows app is there too, though it’s not as fully featured as the Apple versions.
Task management is another strong suit. It syncs with iCloud Reminders, Todoist, and Google Tasks, so you can see all your to-dos right alongside events. No jumping between apps. You can set due dates, geofenced alerts (like “remind me to grab groceries when I leave work”), and recurring tasks. It’s simple but effective.
Little extras make it even better. There’s a built-in weather forecast (3 days free, 10 days with premium), travel time alerts, and time zone support for cross-country meetings. It also syncs with all your favorite calendar services—iCloud, Google, Exchange, Office 365—so you don’t have to switch accounts.
